"Har har Mahadev "
"Har har Mahadev "
The name of Mahakaal echoed throughout the temple as the Aarti ended on the occasion of Mahashivratri. The temple was adorned with an array of vibrant decorations . The entrance was flanked by grand arches covered in marigold and jasmine garlands, their fragrance filling the air. Intricate rangoli designs in vivid hues welcomed the devotees, The walls of the temple were draped with colorful fabrics and festoons, creating a festive and sacred atmosphere. Priests distributed Aarti among the Shiv devotees, who received the blessings wholeheartedly and moved towards the prasad counters to collect bhoj as prasad
Among the crowd of people, there was a girl standing with joined palms and admiring eyes, gazing at the Shivling. Her serene face was adorned with a faint smile, and she was dressed in a green lehenga, radiating a sense of devotion and peace.
"Aarti lelo, (Take Aarti )" Pandit ji said, forwarding the Aarti thali. She nodded with a warm smile, taking the blessings and silently asking her sacred wishes from Shivji
"Is baar akele hi? Wo kaha hai? (This time alone, Where is she )" Pandit ji asked with a frown, looking around as his eyes searched for a specific person. His question made her sad, and she looked down in grief.
"Who?" she asked, still pretending to avoid the topic.
"Wahi tumhari jodi .Tumhari saheli (That your pair , Your Friend)" Panditji asked in a obvious tone , making her sigh
"She is angry at me " she said in a sad tone, looking down as her eyes welled up, missing her badly
"Ab kis vishay par vivad ho gaya tum dono ka? (Now ,Why did you guys fight? )" Panditji asked with a small laugh, aware of how silly their disagreements often were, handing the Aarti plate to another priest.
" She thinks I am Mandbuddhi who is not capable of taking decisions " She expressed with a scoff remebering the ugly fight they had on this topic and after that they drifted
"To isme galat kya hai (Then , What is wrong in it ?)" Pandit ji said in a casual tone making her stared at him with parted lips , even He roasted her .
"Aap bhi," she said with a resigned expression, making him fall silent and smiled at her quietly. She looked away from him, giving him an angry look
"Achha thik hai, aisa kya decision le liya tumne ki use gussa aagaya? (Ok fine , But what decision you took that made her angry )" Panditji asked, making her look at him who was waiting for her to speak further , while she showed no intention of discussing the topic further
"Don't worry, nothing much is serious. It's just a fight, and besides, I know how to pacify my fireball," she said in a hopeful tone, though her heart wrenched as she recalled her failed attempts to contact her soul-sister.
"Thik hai .Aur hai aaj ke samaaroh ki taiyari ho gayi (Ok .And For today celebration, is everything ready ?)" He asked who brightly smiled at him
"Yes, after some time, it will be started," she said, looking around as her eyes scanned the preparations. Panditji nodded and walked away after patting her head in blessing.
"Hn , Aashu I really miss you " She said with a sighed remembering her angry soul-sister looking at Shivling
"But I promise I will definitely persuade you " She promised looking at shivling with cheerful smile and walked away
"Isha di, I need your help," a small girl said, running towards her as she was about to place the basket of hibiscus flowers beside the Shivling.
"Jhilmil , You are still not ready bachha (baby) , the program is about to start " Isha huffed putting her hands on her waist , fake glaring at the and the girl grinned at her reaction holding a chunari
"Isha di, thoda sa niche aao," Jhilmil asked, causing Isha to scrunch her eyebrows together, but she crouched down to Jhilmil's level
"You are soooo cute " Jhilmil said pulling her cheeks with a cheeky smile
"Aaahhhh jhilmil ,Nooooo Bachha (Baby)" She exclaimed in slight irritation , jerking away her hands quickly, and rubbing her cheeks and the girl laughed at her reaction
"Stop laughing ok ,and tell me why are you still not ready yet " Isha asked , narrowing her eyes
"Actually, my bun, Isha di, and these flowers... I'm not able to fix both of them," Jhilmil said, showing the accessories in her small hands
"Then ,lets go .First I will help you then We will start the program" Isha said in a excited tone and walked away with her
"And it's done! Aww, you're looking so cute, my little Parvati," Isha said, removing the evil eye from her, who smiled widely at her
"I can only look like Parvati maiya but you are actually Parvati " The little girl said and she frown
"But I have not dress up like her " She said looking at her dress and jhilmil slapped her forehead
"Areee , Isha matlab Parvati .Remember "Jhilmil said shaking her head at her
"I can only look like Parvati Maiya, but you are actually Parvati," the little girl said, and Isha frowned
" Isha di , did you forget , Isha means the Goddess of ruling , another name of Goddess Parvati " Jhilmil said and shook her head at her Isha di
" Bhaut dimaag chalta hai aapka , ab chalo nahi to hum late hojayenge " Isha said hitting teh little girl head with a small smile at her silly words and took her wrist
" Isha di "Jhilmil called walking along with her who looked down at her
" hnn" She hummed , stating to ask further through her look
"What if you also find your Mahadev today?" Jhilmil said in a mischievous tone, wiggling her eyebrows, causing her to stop in her tracks and looked at her with folded hands
"How many times I have to explain you guys that I already have got one .Remember your your Pankaj Bhaiya " Isha said and flashed a warm smile while the little girl resisted the urge to roll her eyes
"Wo kaagaz " Jhilmil bitterly snapped , her dislike visible on her face
"Tum sab Aashi ke bigaari gayi ho .Bhaiyaa jaise hai tumhare , Aise koi naam bigarat hai " Isha scolded trying to sound ffirm
(You all ate spoiled by Aashi .He is like your older brother, Don't ruin his name like this )
"Then I am proud to be bigari hui of aashu di . I really don't like him, not even this much," Jhilmil said, showing her little finger, which made her sigh in defeat.
"Am I the only one who likes him in the whole world, Mahadev?" Isha said, looking at the sky with a pout.
"Yes you are putri (child)" Jhilmil said while giggling only to stop when Isha glared at her
"But Isha di, don't you also think, if you are Isha, meaning Parvati Ma, then you too deserve Mahadev ji, right?" Jhilmil said, wiggling her eyebrows, reminding her of her soul-sister who had the same thoughts as her
"Okay, I accept that. But you know, there are many incarnations of Shivji. Which one should I choose?" Isha asked, walking into the large hall and approaching the large embodiment of Shivji placed in the center, supported by four pillars without a ceiling
"You tell me the names, and I will pray to Mahadev to grant you that," Jhilmil said, helping her tear the flower petals
"There are many, like Neelkanth, which expresses his selflessness, Vishwanath, the Lord of the universe, Bholenath, the innocent one,
" Innocent ? Why this ?"She asked and Isha smiled recalling the story
"Because even though he is termed as the destroyer, he is still so innocent, like a child. You know, when Shivji went to marry Devi Parvati, and when he was asked for gifts from his sisters-in-law, he gifted his vasuki (Shivji's snake) to them, to the humans, saying this is the only thing he possesses, even though he is the Lord of all realms and the universe," Isha explained with a small chuckle , then looked at her Mahadev, shaking her head
"Ohhh, then definitely not this, or else you two will literally drown the whole world in your innocence," Jhilmil said, making her give a look with narrowed eyeswho immediately exclaimed a sorry . Everyone knows she can bear anything but not a single question on her Shivji and her degree
"Then there are also many like Mahakal , Ashutos , Mrutyunjay , Naagesh , Mahesh , Alok , Abhay , Kedar , Bhairav , Arihant , Akshat Shankar , Trilokinath , Trilochana , Devesh , Dhruva , Aadidev , Ishwara , Bhootnath , Chandrasekhara , Devarishih , Durjaya , Girish , Idhyah , Jatin ,Kailashnath , Lokpal , Omkar , Pashupati , Someswara , Tejaswani , Vyomakesh or -
" Or ?" Jhilmil asked
"Ekaksh," Isha uttered in a sweet tone, only to be interrupted by the ringing of the bell, which caught both of their attention. She looked towards the entrance as a devotee of Shivji arrived to offer prayers
"I like this name. Let me pray for you," she said, hurriedly joining her palms in front of Shivji, making Isha hit her head at her little friend's over-excitement.
"Areee, first, at least know its meaning," Isha tried to interrupt , but the girl had already finished her prayer and turned towards her
"This name is beautiful so the meaning too will be good I know "She said in a proud tone while isha shook her head
"Silly girl, how many times should I explain to you? Like a person by their heart, not by their beauty," Isha said in a didactically tone making the girl bite the tip of her tongue but one can say there was not a hint of regret on her face
" Ji Ms.Heart Surgeon didi .Ab Iska matlab bhi bataiyi na "Jhilmil asked , approaching her
"Ekaksh means a one-eyed person with decisive persistence or focused determination that never lets his firm heart melt easily. This name showcases one of the qualities of Lord Shiva. Everyone knows that when Lord Shiva's third eye opens, it brings about brutal destruction, as his fury knows no limits when he gets angry," Isha explained her while showing different looks looking at her shivji
"That is dangerous. No, no, a calm personality like yours will never be able to handle such an angry person," Jhilmil said, and Isha smiled at her. Poor girl forget , even If he gets angry , his anger alawys vapour up seeing Parvati ma .
"Di ,What if Mahadev has received my prayer?" She asked giving a fearful look while biting her thumb nail
"Then whatever he will give me, I will accept wholeheartedly without any excuse. Kyunki wo kabhi galat kar hi nahi sakte," she said in a gentle tone looking at Shivji with so much trust . Of course He can never do wrong to his devotees
" Now enough with your questions Jhilmil ,Return to the bak of the temple , everyone must be waiting for you " Isha told her while standing up with the thaal of fresh petals and walked away after passing her a small smile
"Hope ki aapne message receive na kiya ho Shivji " Jhilmil prayed then move towards the back of temple
"Aap Sabhi ka Tridev Mandir Mahashivratri Samaroh me swagat hai .Aaiye aaj ke samaaroh ki suruwat karte hai " The announcer said and the priests take their seats whereas some stand clapping for the group which was preparing for their nritya before shivji
"The upcoming performance is about how Mata Parvati yearned for years and years after taking birth as Parvati, so that Shivji would accept her again. This is a depiction of her prayers and plea for acceptance," the announcer explained and walked back to his place and the music started
Ooo Shiv Dhayaani
Aughad Gyaani
A group of girls entered everyone's view, singing in front of the statue of Shivji. Their voices echoed through the temple, filling the air with devotion and melody.
Dhyaan ko chhodke mujhpe
Kabhi to tu dhyaan de
They all took their positions in front of him, standing with joined palms in reverence. Dressed in traditional attire, they moved gracefully, their steps synchronized with the rhythmic beat of the music
Barso se baithi charno me tere
Sang baithane ka mujhko jagg me tu maan de
Isha stepped forward, leading the group of girls with graceful hand movements as they sang the lines in unison. Her presence added a charismatic touch to their performance, guiding the group in their devotion to Lord Shiva
Jab jab kasth hai aaya teeno lok mein tune hara use naath re
Mere bhi kasth ko harle tu Bhole
Mujhko dede saughaat re
They devoted the lines to Shivji with smiles on their faces, while others in the temple admired their dance sequence with awe and appreciation , drowning themselves in the devotion towards Mahakal
Tere bin din kitne bite ab na lage ji mora
Isha came to the middle, devoting the lines with her hands pointed towards Shivji affectionately, while the other girls twirled around her, adding a graceful and dynamic element to their performance
Ooo Aankhiya khol re Shiv Bhole
Main hu teri Gaura
She come forward with joined hands then shower the flower that she was holding between them towards Shivji , while others followed the sequence then bowed her head with joined hands
Oo Aankhiya khol re Shiv Bhole
Main hu Teri Gaura
She twirled gracefully, then again dedicated the lines to him with deep reverence and devotion.
2 days back........
In a dimly lit dungeon, a man sits tied to a chair, his face bruised and bloodied, signs of torture evident. The dungeon walls are damp and lined with ominous shadows, barely illuminated by the light coming from the window. The man's clothes are torn, and he appears in a state of despair, his hands and feet bound tightly with ropes.
The air in the room become more heavy with tension due to the distant echoes of footsteps and murmurs hint at a lurking presence-the looming figure of the Beast, whose wrath has brought the man to this harrowing state
"Aahhhhh , Si-sir -
The man tied to the wooden chair, almost lifeless, let out a loud hiss as another round of torture was implemented by the mafia's henchman. His grimace of pain and despair spoke volumes of the brutality inflicted upon him in that dimly lit dungeon
"Si-a ah
" sshhhh"
A very callously cold voice cut through the tense silence, sending shivers down the spines of all the men present in the room. They dared not breathe in the same air as him, intimidated by his presence alone. Each man gulped hard, their eyes darting nervously as they looked at the condition of their colleague, a testament to the ruthless power of the figure whose voice held sway over them . The men were non- other than the panel of supreme judges who were abducted within a night without a warning
They looked at the big screen where a video played repeatedly, ever since they were abducted and thrown into this desolate place. They were now forced to confront the Beast, known for its fierce anger and cruel nature, which was both unpredictable and terrifying. Facing the Beast meant enduring misery and immense torment, where even death seemed like a potential escape. The Beast held control over their fate, leaving them in a state of helpless fear and uncertainty
He played the video again, repeating the same incident where an old man was seen handing over documents to someone. Fear was palpable on their faces, their hands visibly shaking and sweating in the tense moment captured on screen. But the greed of money and power made then conduct the sin against the sinner himself
"Make sure my name isn't dragged into this," the old man said fearfully, glancing around to see if anyone was watching. His words carried a sense of urgency and apprehension, telling how much afraid he was
"Don't worry, sir. No one will get to know about this," the other man reassured, trying to calm the old man's fears
"And -
But before the video could proceed further, the screen was switched off by the Beast himself. His attention turned towards the half-dead man, who was now only praying for death as his sole escape from the brutal tortures he had endured.
"How much was it?" His voice came cold and menacing, causing everyone to gulp in fear
"113 million dollars," he said, his tone indicating that he despised repeating himself
The atmosphere grew even tenser, the weight of the amount adding to the fear already palpable in the room. He chuckled darkly and moved towards a wooden chair, the sound sending chills down the spines of everyone present.
"Let's settle something," he said, sitting down on the chair in front of the half-dead man, his dark eyes locking onto him with an unnerving intensity
"You like to judge others a lot," he said frigidly, as he untied the rope and took hold of the man's finger with a dangerous unwavering smirk dancing on his lips
"B- no AAAAHHHAA A ahhhh ahhh "
The old man screamed as he felt his index finger being detached from his palm. He started to take deep breaths in pain, desperately trying to free his hand from the Beast's grip
"Don't," he coldly commanded the old man, who was still struggling for his life as the pain became unbearable. Provoked by the man's resistance, he ruthlessly chopped off the thumb, eliciting a blood-curdling scream and desperate begging from the victim. The Beast's expression remained deadpan as he gripped another finger, placing it between the sharp edges of his lighter, preparing for another excruciating act
"Betraying me was never an option for you. How did you even think about it?" Ekaksh said, his voice void of emotion as he chopped off another finger, ignoring the man's agonized screams.
"I-i just ,s-sir
"Sshhh. Speak when you are told to, or..." he said, tightening his hold on the lighter cap, poised to sever another finger. The old man shook in terror, his eyes wide with fear.
"Mr. Shah," he called out, and the next second, the person named Mr. Shah stood a little apart, visibly trying not to react, knowing any wrong move could lead to dire consequences.
"Papers," Ekaksh asked, extending his hand, his eyes never leaving the old man.
"You know why I didn't chop your right hand till now because of This .Sign " Ekaksh said keeping the paper on the table
"Pen," Ekaksh said, looking at Mr. Shah, who nodded in fear and took out his pen with trembling hands, causing Ekaksh to smirk with satisfaction. No wonder his presence is terror even for an insane person
"The-they will ah-ah kill my fam-family aahhhhhhhhhhh!" the old man screamed in agony as Ekaksh cut off his index finger.
"Don't force me to be the first one to do that," Ekaksh said with a smirk, tilting his face to make the old man have a better view of the screen where his family's activities were flashing. His tears mixed with his blood while he gazed at them helplessly
"That mansion is quite beautiful. Will it still look like that when it's reduced to ashes?" he said darkly, his voice laced with ominous intent while more tears cascaded the old man eyes
"No, no, please. I-I am signing," he said hurriedly, his voice trembling with fear and desperation. With trembling hands, he hastily signed the papers, each stroke leaving traces of his own blood on the document
"Don't you want to know what it's about?" he asked, handing the paper back to Mr. Shah but the old man was only staring at the screen which was still on display ,he just wanted to capture his faimly view before he die
"It is about your resignation and a recommendation for Mr. Shah to take your position as senior judge. You have caused me a lot of loss for sure " Ekaksh said, standing up from his seat with a cold, calculating demeanor
"Kill me " He whispered making him stare back at him with a smirk
"I not done with you yet ,old hag " He replied in a mocking tone
"Th-thank y-you Mr.Ranawat " Mr.Shah said looking down in fear as he shuttered which he hate The most
"Look up, all of you, and imprint this sight in your brain. See what could happen to you if you try to go against me," he said to the judicial panel, who immediately stood in line, nodding in acknowledgment while avoiding eye contact with him.
Clearly it was his way to satisfy his ego by doing the crime infront of those who punish for the violation of law , Surely even law was helpless before his , Well He was a Mafia lord for a reason , the owner of Dark Realm which is the biggest criminal organisation of the Dark world
"Mr.Shah " He called and he come forward standing before him with head down .Ekaksh looked at him coldly, then withdrew a pocket square, its fabric stained with his own blood, from his trembling hand.
"You know," he began, his voice cold and measured, "He tried to create obstacles for my men in the shipment of drugs, even attempting legal objections with the help of those who feed off my money." He paused, wiping his hands while his scrutinizing gaze was making it difficult for him to even breath in the same air as his
"This is just a glimpse for those who try to stand against me. Trust me, the whole lesson is brutally fatal, not only for you all but for everyone. So just do what you are asked to do and never use this fucking brain of yours," he shouted, throwing the pocket square, now stained red, from his hand. Everyone nodded without objection, well aware that any attempt to speak would provoke his wrath in the next moment.
"Amar!" he shouted, and the man hurriedly came forward with water and offered him
"Explain everything related to our business, especially his duties," he said, and Amar nodded in acknowledgment
"And as for that bastard, let him see his family all night while our man slowly finishes him off. If he screams, you know what to do," he said, walking away from there
Here's a revised version with some adjustments for clarity:
Everyone took a deep breath, releasing the tension they had unknowingly held. They looked at their colleague, who was now on the verge of death for attempting to sell important documents about the boss's illegal business to the leader of an influential party, hoping to use them against him. Unbeknownst to them, it was the boss who had informed on him. They stepped away, feeling pity for the officer who had tried to act smart and raise a voice against their leader.
Ekaksh emerged from the shadowy depths of the quiet cellar, flanked by his men dressed in black. He settled into his car, casting a glance at his hands still stained with traces of blood. A smirk crept across his face, accompanied by a dark chuckle. Nothing new
His car, flanked by numerous armored vehicles for security, entered the premises of the Dark Realm. Nestled amidst dense woods, it stood at a safe distance from the chaotic city, near the shores of the Bay of Bengal. Tall, wrought-iron gates guarded the entrance, flanked by stone walls topped with menacing spikes. Beyond them, meticulously manicured gardens spread out under the watchful gaze of security cameras discreetly nestled among the foliage.
It was the base of the world's most powerful Mafia lord , The Ekaksh Sanvi Singh Ranawat , the sole proprietor Ranawat empire and The owner of E-company of Dark world . The name was enough to make people shivers and surrendered in fear .
"This is not a hotel, it's my place. Make sure to inform me when you come here," he seethed in anger upon seeing his father sitting on the sofa, his back turned towards him. His tone conveyed the depth of his resentment towards his father which doesn't lessened even after decades
"Do I have to announce my own arrival at my son's place?" His father's voice cut through the heated silence of the room, cold yet powerful. He, too, had once been a Mafia supremo; there was no way he would tolerate everything from his son.
"Mine. This is my place, and I am nothing to you " he said coldly, his gaze fixed neutrally on his father, who responded with a faint smile.
He glanced at his blood-stained hand and cloths , then met his son's gaze, his eyes devoid of any emotion. He made no attempt to conceal his hand-why should he, when he had no reason to fear anything?
"I've come here to inform you that I urgently need to leave for abroad; something has come up," he said calmly yet sternly, dismissing any thought of discussing the blood on his hand. By now, he was accustomed to sights like these.
"So what ?" Ekaksh asked nonchantly in a detached tone making him interanlly sighed
"So , I want you to attend the Mahashivratri Samaroh at Trivedi Mandir as every year from Ranawat family , some donation and prasad goes there " His father stated walking towards him only to earn a fierce glare from him
"How many times do I need to fucking state, don't try to assert your rights over me. As for this ritual, find some servants. I have more important matters to attend to. Now, you can take your leave," he burst out in anguish. The mere sight of his father ignited the worst of fury within him, a consequence of past actions
"I cannot, Ekaksh. As always, a family member takes care of these things," he said, looking at him, but he just rolled his eyes and started to walk away without a word
"Ekaksh!" His father called out loudly, but he simply kept on going
"Did the Ranawat family cease to exist already, Mr. Ranawat?" he casually remarked, causing his father to close his eyes in annoyance. No DNA test was needed; he was definitely his father's younger version
" I request you please Ekaksh .I would never have requested you for this you too know but I am compelled thats why "He loudly stated in a helpless tone which definetly pleased his son
"It was your mother who started this custom and ritual. At least do it for My Sanvi, your mother," he said in a low tone, his voice softening immensely at the mention of that particular person who meant everything to them-their first and only love, the absence of whom had left their life in complete turmoil
"Don't, Mr. Ranawat," he growled, abruptly stopping in his tracks and turning around with bloodshot eyes at the mention of his mother. She was the only sensitive topic for him and now only her name is left behind his name in his life
"Sorry, but please, Ekaksh. I would never have forced you, but for my wife, I am doing this and I don't regret it," he said in low tone , as Ekaksh walked towards him angrily.
"And about your important work, I know you are going there for business, and trust me, that temple is on your way. It will not take much time," he explained, making him clenched his fists to control himself
"When it is ?" He gritted making Saarthak sighed internally , He hated making him helpless but for his wife anything
"In two days," he said and was abput tp keep his hand on his shoulder when Ekaksh abruptly stepped away glaring at him .His father closed his eyes in agony , seeing him walking towards his gym in anger, a single tear escaping knowing he will definitely hurt himself just to subside the pain caused by the haunting memories
"I am sorry Ekaksh " His father said in a vulnerable tone , gulping the pain and regret but like other ties , He was till not able to
"Don't Mr.Ranawat, It cannot fix the scar and loss I got from this fucking Surname of yours " He snapped back still walking away from him
"But I am still sorry for everything that happened and for what I am about to force you to do," he said, swallowing a lump in his throat. With that, he walked away, determined to rectify the mess his past actions have created , at least as much as he can
Ekaksh walked into his gym and proceeded to the special room attached to it. Inside, there was only his punching bag and a small window through which a beam of moonlight filtered in.
He angrily threw off his coat, followed by his tie and white shirt, leaving himself in just his black trousers. Wrapping his hands in rage with hand wraps, he moved towards the punching bag. Each punch landed hard, his fury escalating with every passing second as past events flashed relentlessly before his eyes
Furiously punching, he glared at nothing and everything, the scenes that had haunted him for decades fueling his rage. He had nothing to do with the reckless actions of his parents, yet it had taken away everything from him-his mother, his childhood, and even his sense of humanity. He felt compelled to live this life, and now he had become so brutal that he found himself deriving a twisted enjoyment from his inhuman actions
He never wanted to be a fallen angel but his fate made him the cruel Beast .
"Aaahhhhhhhhhhhh!" He growled loudly, delivering a final, powerful blow to the bag that caused sand to burst out. He sat down heavily on a nearby bench, placing both elbows on his thighs and holding his head in his hands while panting hard due to exhaustion pf his body and soul too
"Ma," he whispered under his harsh breath, his fists clenched, swallowing hard and taking deep breaths with his eyes closed. Abruptly, he stood up and threw the bench at the window, shattering the glass in a furious explosion
His bloodshot eyes welled up as he remembered his mother and the moment he lost her in front of him. Clenching his blood-stained fists, he closed his eyes and tried to recall his mother's image, hoping the memory would temper his fury just enough to prevent it from consuming him completely
Next day ......
He sat in his private jet, staring out the window, lost in his thoughts. The peaceful silence of the beautiful was a distant background music to the memories and plans swirling in his mind.
"Good afternoon, Sir," an air hostess greeted him, placing his drink on the table in front of him
"Do you need anything else?" she asked politely, noticing he was still looking at the clouds. He beckoned her to go away with a slight wave of his two fingers, without even glancing at her. She smiled warmly, bowed slightly, and then left , leaving him within his chain of thoughts
Her bechari button is here →
After some time, his jet landed at its destination. There, someone was waiting for him-a woman who had fasted for 16 Mondays and prayed with immense devotion and belief to her Shivji for an ideal husband
"Directly to Rathor main office," his secretary instructed the driver. The secretary, appearing to be in his late 20s, was dressed in a well-ironed suit and held a notepad like a professional. His stoic face and well-crafted 6'1" frame were enough to draw attention, but his robotic demeanor ensured that he always stayed within professional boundaries , ignoring peoples like a flakes . He was Laksh Pradhan , one of the most trusted man of Ekaksh .
After some time, he arrived at the Rathor office, and the meeting commenced. After extensive discussions and negotiations over terms and conditions, he finalized the deal himself
"It will be our honor to work with you, sir," a man of similar age said, extending his hand for a handshake, which he regally ignored
"Look Mr. ---umm Rathore , Mr.Rathore , I hope you have heard the breaking news of today " He casually asked still sitting on his chair facing him with a evil smirk and that person nodded nervously in acknowledgement , shivering under his scrutinizing gaze
"It was I who fired his mansion, but look at my generosity-I spared his family and only threw him into that fire," He said, standing up making his eyes gone wide and face paled , It was one of the most brutal death according to forensic reports stated by the news anchor
"You know, it was a lesson for those who work or will work for me. Try to double-cross me, and I will make sure you never cross another path," he said darkly , making Mr.Rathore nod instantly , He was insane for sure
"You have this opportunity only to oversee what's going on, and never try to poke your fucking nose into my men's work," he warned, a tone he reserved for everyone
"And as for the construction side, Aviraaj Singh Agnivanshi will oversee that. He will also sign the contract upon his return. Until then, begin the underground construction," he declared in a cold tone while again Mr.Rathore nodded like a puppet
"Any questions?" he asked, tilting his head slightly. He momentarily forgot that he had planned to ask Ekaksh to dinner for better relations, but now it seemed better if he kept his distance. What if he don't like the taste and the choice of dishes , hell then He will definitly roast him until he will turn into ashes . His mind registered
"No, no, no, sir," he fumbled badly, looking down. Beads of sweat appeared on his forehead even in the air-conditioned room. But why not, when standing in front of Ekaksh Singh Ranawat, the one who ruled in darkness.
After meetings with some businesswomen and elite politicians, it was finally midnight. He returned to his hotel, went straight to take a shower, and then moved to get a drink for himself. He stepped onto the large balcony, holding a drink in one hand and a cigarette in the other.
He took a drag from the cigarette, inhaling deeply before exhaling slowly. Glancing at his watch, it was almost 2:30 a.m., and sleep seemed elusive. Even if he tried to rest, the dreams and past flashbacks haunted him relentlessly, reminding him of his vulnerabilities and weaknesses, which no one else had ever noticed.
He threw the glass in anger as something struck his mind. One of the cruel memory which He so much want to undo like it never happeneded
"Ekaksh jaao beta mujhe kuch nahi hoga pakka "
"Ma- ma nah-nahiiiiiii "
"Maaaaaa!" he screamed, clutching his head, then hurriedly moved towards his bed, taking uneven breaths. He tried to find some peace in the silent room, but the chaos inside his head only worsened his situation.
"Why did you left me here ?" He whispered under his breath throwing his back on the bed , looking at the ceiling with empty eyes .
Definitely tears never cascade down his eyes but his lifeless heart always bleed in the memories of his Mother .
Next day....
At Tridev temple. ...
His car came to a stop in front of the grand temple decorated with beautiful flowers and lights , and his team of bodyguards promptly exited their vehicles, forming a protective ring to ensure no one could approach him at any cost. Amar, the head of his guards, opened the door for him. Stepping out, he planted his right foot on the ground first before emerging fully from his car. He surveyed the bustling activity around him through his goggles
But what immediately drew his attention was a sweet, angelic voice that caught his mind's focus
Aur gaura maiyaa kahti hai shiv se
Ki main hi shakti hu , Main hi teri sati hu
Jara mujhko to jaan .....
Ek baar aankhe khol bhole aur apni Gaura ko pahchan
He took off his glasses and directed his gaze towards the large speaker from where the captivating voice had emanated, briefly entrancing his mind with its words. Quickly shaking off the distraction, he cursed himself inwardly and ascended the stairs with regal poise. His men followed, carrying the offerings intended for the temple rituals
Shakhiya chhede mujhko ki Shiv hai Aghori
He paused at the entrance of the main hall where the large Shivling was situated . He gazed at him with a bitter look , remembering the beautiful words his Mother used to state about her lord , Now all seemed him fake .
Par wo kya jaane re Shiv ne Thaami
Meri doori
Isha sang the lines with a wide smile with folded palms coming towards Shivji statue meanwhile the girls were twirling around her doing their steps
Dukh Tu harle gale tu lagale
Kabse hu roothi aa mujhko manale
He continued to gaze at the Shivling for a moment, then let out a bitter chuckle as he looked away , however He made no move to enter the temple , well why He when He has nothing to ask
"Namaskar, Mr. Ranawat," the head priest greeted with joined palms, to which he simply nodded in acknowledgment and put on his glasses
"Aapka bahut bahut shukriya yaha aane ke liye. Aap bura na maane toh Maha Aarti tak ruk jaaye," he said in a requested tone. Ekaksh looked at the Shivling with bitterness before shifting his gaze towards the head priest
Jab tu Avinashi, tu kyu hai sansyaasi
Tu karta kiska dhyaan re
"He has never given me a reason to believe in him, so there is no need to stay here," he said in his callous tone, dismissing the idea of staying for the Maha Aarti while The Head of priests smiled at him , shaking his head .
Tere prem ki pyaasi
Tu kailash ka wasi
Bhole tu Gaura ki jaan hai
He heard the same sweet voice which seemed him a kind of repky to his previous words making him looked at Shivji with a cold look
"Ye to Bholenath hai, agar ye vinash laate hai to wo bhi to srishti ke kalyaan ke liye hi hota hai .Agar inhone kuch chhina hai to wo bhi achhe ke liye hi hai " The priest said with a small smile which provoked his anger more
He clenched his fists in irritation. First, he hadn't wanted to come, but his father had insisted, invoking his mother's name. Then there was that angelic voice, irritating him to the core with its allure. Now, the head priest's words seemed only to increase his frustration. All of them was only angering him
"What if I were to take your life this instant? Would that be in your favor too?" he said through gritted teeth, struggling to maintain control to not pull out his gun from his waistband
"Ye bhi unhi ki mahima hoga, balak .Kashi unki nagari hai , ayhabaane wale kabhi khali haath nahi jante , aur jo yaha rahata hai , lagata hai tumhe unke saath wo kabhi galat hone denge " the priest said with a smile, causing him to glare at him and stormed away in frustion while The prist smiled at hs resorting frame
" Jo hoga wo achhe ke liye hi hoga " He whsipered and bowed at the Shivling
Tere bin din kitne bite ab na laage
Jee mora
He clenched his fist , angrily walking away , recalling the priest words which was triggering him to no extent . He just wanted to banged someone to calm his anger but when He heard the same sweet music his anger was eventually getting calm , unknow to him too
Ooo Aankhiya khol re Shiv Bhole Main hu Teri Gaura
Isha sang the lines , drowned in the devotion of her shivji while he was walking away from the temple . But then his eyes fell on the other side of the Temple where some program was going on as crowd was collect there
Ooo Ankhiya khol re Shiv Bhole main hu teri Gaura
He looked towards the area where the voice was coming from, and unknowingly, his legs began to carry him towards the crowd gathered there. His mind and heart were at odds, battling over his next move. As he walked, lost in contemplation, his phone suddenly rang, jolting him out of his thoughts. The abrupt sound brought him back to reality, and he realized where he was heading whiel the anger seemed totally perished
"Damn it, what's happening to me?" he muttered, immediately turning around and walking away from the crowd still cursing his peculiar action in his mind. How the hell a voice the able to divert his attention and mind . He wondered mentally .
Isha was in the middle of her performance, nearing the end of her part, when she noticed Jhilmil holding her cell phone and gesturing impatiently that someone was calling her. She motioned for Isha to take the call, emphasizing its importance. But For Isha nothing is important for her than her Shinvji , Soon her part end and the left as it was time for someone else entry to perform the other part.
"Who's calling?" she asked, running towards Jhilmil while holding her lehenga with both hands, her dupatta sliding down from one hand which she was trying to tuck badly , seems like she forget her saftypin in hast
"Uncle is calling " Jhilmil said , returing the phoneand Isha quickly checked the phone only to gasped and abruptly looked at the girl
"Hayee, Baba ne to bus 1 baar call kiya hai aur ruk , bataya kyu nahi Pankaj ne 15 baar call kiye hai " She asked looking at her in disbelief who shrugged off her shoulders walking away rolling her eyes , Definitely the hate is too much for him
She shook her head, then decided to call Pankaj first. Something must have happened for him to call her this urgently. She walk towards the back of the temple as the music sound was very loud there where as Ekaksh was already there but the network connection was very poor which was irritating him
Ooooooo
They both stood with their backs to each other, each engrossed in their phone, searching for a signal in annoyance
Ya to mujhko inkaar kar do
They both took more steps away from each other, increasing the distance between them.
Ya fir mujhko swikar kar lo
And suddenly, they found the signal coming in clearly as they stepped back, drawing closer to each other and decreasing the distance between them.
Tere pyaar me hu khoyi kitna hu main royi
Bhole tujhe na khabar
"Hello, ha - ha Pankaj, ha boliye, ab awaz aa rahi hai, hello Pankaj," she said in her soft tone, putting her phone to her ear and stepping back towards her future who was literally bashing on someone , ordering to kill
Bus ab na sata mujhe ab na rula
Ab aur na sabar
"Then fucking kill that bastard you bloody rascal , He is of no use . " He cursed being irritated by the poor connection. ............of the network
Praan main de dungi ab tere aage humsafar
They were still a few paces apart, facing away from each other, when they both turned to look at the approaching procession from the front.
Fir jag me na koi hoga mahobbat ka safar
It was a Gauri-Shankar procession, with two small children dressed as Shiv-Parvati. A few people held their seats on their shoulders, while others showered flowers on them and chanted the names of Gauri-Shankar in devotion. It was the most ethreal sight for a Gauri-Shankar devotee as one can imagine that How beautiful , It was when It happened in real
The view captured Isha's heart, and she smiled blissfully. She hurriedly took off the evil eye from them, while Ekaksh rolled his eyes with a bitter expression, ignoring the procession and the girl standing beside him whom he still hadn't acknowledged, as she looked at Shiv-Parvati.
"Isha, are you there?" the voice on the phone interrupted her, causing her to bite her tongue. She had once again become lost in her thoughts of Her Mahadev
"Yes, yes, sorry," she said, about to explain when the procession passed by her. Suddenly, out of nowhere, her back hit a solid wall, causing her to drop the phone and her become imbalanced
She squealed loudly and shut her eyes , and was about to hit the ground when out od no where a hand gripped her arm and pulled her slightly
Oooo Aankhiya khol di ab shiv ne ha tu hi meri Gaura
His blue orbs fall on the most serene face he ever had come across ,which was able to block all his senses and made him to only stare at her without blinking . A sense of past captured his mind as the mere touch of her made him felt lots of sensations . He felt a old kind of connection with her
Ooo Ankhiya khol di ab Shiv ne ha tu hi meri Gaura
He continued to stare at her as she stood with closed eyes, fear still evident on her face. Suddenly, a shower of rose petals fell upon them. It was from the thali of Gauri-Shankar, passing by them
Oooooo Ankhiyan khol di ab Shiv ne ha tuhi meri Gaura
He took a deep breath to overcome this unfamiliar feeling, and suddenly he heard or felt inside his chest-his heartbeat, beating fast for the first time after just a single glance at her. which made him feel a special kind of warmth . It felt him like he got home
"Hayeee ,Lagata hai bach gayi " She said , still with close eyes taking deep breath and mentally offered a prayer to her shivji with a small smile
Ooooo Aankhiya khol di Shiv ne tu hi meri Gaura
He snapped back to his senses, a wave of fury erupting within him. How could he feel something like that? She was about to look at her savior when he harshly released her hand, causing her to drop to the ground on the wide stairs
"Aaahhh!" she exclaimed, holding her waist in pain, then looked up only to find no one there. She frowned and scanned her surroundings, spotting a well-built man walking away from her in a black suit. She could still feel his dominating and dark demeanor, even though he was far away from her.
"Dust praani, If you had to leave me then why the nark you catch me from falling " She said with angry look , rubbing her forearm which has his fingerprints marks .Perks of being too much fair
" Koi Bail Budhhi hu hoga , jo aajke din kale kapade pahan kar mandir aaya hoga " She again snapped loudly looking at the diretion He went into . She looked at his retreating figure as he walked away, disappearing down another lane far from her sight.
Ooo Ankhiya khol di Shiv ne tumhi meri Gaura
"Sach me is manbuddhi insaan ki Ankhiya khol do Shiv ji taaki maddat kaise karte hai ise bhi pta chale " She prayed shaking her head and stood up
"Wait where is my Duppatta " She said looking around in shock , and searched for it but it aws no near to her
"Ohhh Ganga Maiyaaa ,Did I left it in the hall -wait till I remember It was with me when I come here , Then where did it go " She said putting her palm on her head , stilll darting her eyes everywhere
"Aunty , do you have seen my duppatta, It was in green dhani color " She asked from a aunty who shooke her head in no and walked away making hr sighed
"Tujhe mila " She asked Jhilmil who too gave a disappointing answer
"No di, I can't believe you lost your dupatta. People lose bangles and earrings here, and you lost your dupatta. Anklets gumati to koi baat bhi tha but sidhe duptta " she asked in disbelief , looking around.
"Aree yaar , I still remember it was with me when I was speaking to Pankaj then the procession pass by me and I fall-
" fall?"Jhilmil with frowm
"Thats a another story , I will tell you later -
Trust me Baby that is the only story 🤭
" Then -
"After that I realise it is not with me" She sadly said looking at her bare arms
"What if it too had fallen when you fell , and someone from the procession had collected it " Jhilmil said which somewhat sounded reasonable
"Yes , It is also possible. Lets go and ask " She said running holding her lehenga with both hand to search for it at the other part of the temple , the jiggling sounds of her heavy anklets musing in the chaos of the temple happily whiel the bangles make their own melodicious sound
"Yes it was green in colour, Do you have seen it " She asked a priest
"Hum to abhi yaha aaye hai ,Hume nahi pata iske vishaye me " He told making her look down with a sad look but she just passed him a samll thankful smile
"Ek hare rang ki chunari to thi yaha " One of other priest said and making her smile immediately and rshed towards him
"Ha ha chunari hi thai , aapne dekhi hai " She asked in a urgent tone , well It was her favourite chunari which she has literally selected for this occasion
"Ji ha par hume laga wo Bade sahab ke ghar se aaya hai to humne use Shiv ji par chada diya fir unke thaal me rakh diya " He said making her look at him in shock
"Kya ? Wo mera tha .Aap jaldi se thaal bataiye , Main lelungi " She immediately said in a sulking tone
"Wo to unke aadmi lekar chale gayi , kuch chhan pahale hi gaye hai " He said and she hurriedly run towards the exit then run down the stairs fastly holding her lehnga as if it was not her chunari bhut is was someone heart , she was running for .
She halted and took a deep breath, but it was too late. The cars were already gone, and only a few were still in view, too far away for her to chase even if she ran with all her strength.
"Ab ye kyu hua shiv ji . Mera duppta " She asked looking at the sky with a pout and whined like a child
She walk back to the temple and saw Jhilmil
"Its ok , Pandit ji didn't even confirm that it was really your or not .What if it is still in temple " She said encouraging her making her nod her head in affirmation
"Yes , You are right . I belive my shivji , I will get it back for sure" Isha happily said
"Don't loose hope , it will be safe wherever it is .Lets search for it again " Jhilmil said and They again resume their mission chunari which literally take whole day and soon it was past evening .
She come to her house then directly went to her room as her Baba was still not back from the Bakery. She changed into her casual clothes then sit on the large window of her room and look at the moon
"Pata nahi kaha gaya . Ab milega bhi ki nahi " She said looking at the moon from her window then exhale a low sigh and decided to cook
Meanwhile .......
He emerged from the bathroom after a hot shower, clad only in a towel wrapped around his torso. Rubbing his hair vigorously with another towel, he tossed it onto the couch before heading towards the small kitchen in his private apartment. As he was about to pass through the hall, his gaze fell upon the prasad and other offerings that had been returned to him as blessings from the temple.
He hurriedly moved towards the plates, his attention immediately caught by the green cloth that reminded him of her. He picked up the cloth and her sweet rose smell hit his nostril and the temple incident flashback.
How she bumped into him and he hold her firmly .Her close eyes and that serene face with beautiful structure that had captured his mind through the whole drive , hell it was still driving him crazy but He was not his thing to admit soon
But most importantly, he couldn't ignore the fact that he felt his heartbeat quicken with just a single touch and glance. It irritated him to the core, yet his mind found peace amidst the chaos in his heart. This complexity created a havoc inside his chest. What is happening with him ?
"Fuck," he cursed, looking at the cloth. He wanted so much to throw it away, as her scent again stirred that unfamiliar feeling within him. Yet, something was stopping him. He threw the cloth onto the plate and walked away to smoke, knowing it was the only thing that could calm this unknown sensations
"Why the hell did it happen?" he asked, looking at the moon while inhaling the smoke, his mind replaying the incident.
And after Decades the haunting memories were replaced by a mere incidence as His mind was completely captured by here tonight which literally was a escape for him for those panic nightmares .
Finally the first chapter. ...
